New Orleans may be losing one of its most high-profile homeowners, with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s recent listing of their French Quarter home, but another celebrity power couple could soon be moving to town. The website Curbed NOLA reports that Beyonce and Jay Z may have purchased a Garden District mansion.

The Curbed post, by Lauren LaBorde, connects the dots using public records. The property’s owner is listed on the Orleans Parish Assessor’s office online database as Sugarcane Park LLC.

“A search of the LLC on the Louisiana Secretary of State website shows a mailing address for Parkwood Entertainment LLC, which is incidentally Beyonce’s management company, ” LaBorde reports.

Records show the home was sold in January by Sandra C. McNamara to Sugarcane Park LLC.

Jay Z and Beyonce have been spotted in New Orleans off and on over the past few years. Beyonce’s sister, Solange, a part-time resident and co-owner of a French Quarter boutique, had her megawatt wedding here last November (complete with a bridal cape.)

Beyonce also headlined the 2013 Superbowl half-time show in the Superdome and took in the city’s sights while in town, sharing her favorites on Instagram.
