On Saturday, February, 23rd; Recording Artist and Performing Arts Instructor, Joel “L.E” Dyson and her company Beyond the Stage LLC are bringing youth stage production to the city of New Orleans.

History Appreciation Art Series is a very cultured ode to the predecessors who have all contributed to the craft. The youth of the city of New Orleans will showcase their various talents, ranging from dance, spoken word, art and music. The Production comes at a much needed time; where extra-curricular/artistic programs are being tapered off from many schools.

Joel Dyson had this to say about the upcoming event.

Creating professional performance opportunities for aspiring singers and musicians, is what Beyond the Stage, LLC believes in. We cultivate a safe environment for the singer to explore their voices by exposing them to a wide range of music that builds vocal stamina, musicianship, and control. Building confidence on and off the stage, BTS serves as a platform to network and develop friendships that will last a lifetime. I am super excited to partner with the Ashé Center this Saturday for our History Appreciation Art Series. The series will feature performances from dancer for the stars and choreographer, Jasmine Johnson (Owner of Twerk Nola), renowned jazz musician Jesse McBride and the New Generation, BTS young artists and spoken word. This will be an experience they will never forget and a great resumé builder!

The History Appreciation Art Series will be located at the Ashe Cultural Arts Center, 1712 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. Doors open 11am.Hors D’Oeuvres, wine, beer, and cocktails will be served.
