Massachusetts sneaker boutique Concepts have teamed up once again with ASICS on the creation of this Gel Lyte V. Following on from their ingenious “Three Lies“ version which took inspiration from the renowned Harvard University statue, the retailer has dressed the brand’s classic runner in a grey suede upper with a speckled charcoal midsole. Red detailing on the liner, tongue and laces highlight the sneaker’s signature split tongue, finishing off a sneaker that is likely to go down a storm with fans of the retro runner.

Concepts have had a strong year for sneaker collabs, following on from their Clarks Tawyer, Reebok Insta Pump Fury and Converse Pro Leather sneakers, all of which have proved immensely popular with fans of the store’s left-field approach to footwear projects. Watch out for the sneaker when it drops on August 2 at Concepts’ online store.
