Rene BistortA French Bistro

I was recently out in Downtown New Orleans with friends, and we stopped in the Renaissance Hotel for dinner and drinks.. I ordered fried oysters that sat over a bed of artichoke dip & a glass of Merlot… It was delicious, and the environment was extremely relaxed and fly..

René Bistrot has a menu that is focused on French-bistro-style cooking, but provides a contemporary take using the traditions and ingredients from Southeast Louisiana. The menu, changes seasonally and includes daily specials, while focusing on incorporating French cooking traditions with fresh, local ingredients.

Rene is open daily Lunch hours are Monday–Friday 11:30am – 2:30pm. Brunch runs on  Sunday, 11:30am – 2:30pm and Dinner Sunday–Thursday, 6pm – 9pm Friday–Saturday, 6pm – 10pm..
