Kendrick Lamar has been named Rapper of the Year by GQ and is featured on the cover of the magazine’s December 2013 Man of the Year issue. The cover story, written by Steven Marsh, highlights Kendrick’s journey since the release of his second studio album good kid, m.A.A.d. city, including reaching Platinum status, touring with Kanye West, his minor feud with hip-hop cohort Drake and, of course, his “Control” verse.
