Contemporary Chinese artist Liu Bolin has collaborated with Harper’s BAZAAR on a new editorial titled “Lost in Fashion.” Known for typically being the subject of his own works through painting and camouflaging himself into the environment, Bolin instead called upon Alber Elbaz of Lanvin, Jean Paul Gaultier, Angela Missoni, and Valentino‘s Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli to be his muses. Celebrating each fashion house, Bolin painted his subjects into their own iconic designs, illustrating that the artists themselves are indeed in every one of their creations.
