Has dating Kanye changed Kim K’s style?

We all know that dating a new guy can and sometimes will make us tweak what we say and do, but does it affect what we wear? I know for a fact that I myself have changed my look. If a guy I dated was into fashion, I paid closer attention to what I wore and how I wore it. If the guy I dated could care less about fashion I would become more laid back in my fashion choices. However, one side or another didn’t change my fashion style completely.

We’ve all been watching Kim and Kanye in the press, because quite frankly they’re everywhere! The biggest thing that I’ve noticed besides the fact that they look incredibly happy together, is that Kim has seemed to change her style a bit to seemingly match Kanye’s. This could be an exaggeration, and maybe she’s just wearing what she feels, but over the past couple of months Kim has toned down her usual bright bold look and has gone with a more monochromatic look. She’s wearing lots of neutrals and her hair straight and sleek, a far cry from her signature tousled waves she became famous for.

At first thought, I convinced myself that I was overthinking the issue, but I remember the same fashion transition with Kanye and Amber Rose. I do believe that Mr. West actually dresses these women to fit his concept of style at the time. I believe that a woman is more than a partner for him; she’s an accessory, much like purses or jewelry for females. I could be taking this too far, you be the judge.
