While its website originally launched several months ago, online design store Hem recently began accepting orders on its first wave of interior design products – and the results look pretty good. The company formed after troubled e-retailer Fab.com made the decision to merge with Danish design studio One Nordic, having had to pull out of all European operations and scale back its US store following a tumultuous 12 months of business. Now, armed with a series of new designs from both experienced and upcoming talent, they’re launching their first wave of products with a collection that covers everything from lighting to soft furnishings.

While the company’s signature item appears to be the Hai Chair and matching ottoman, our eye was particularly drawn to the Levels Lamp and Verso Shelves, both of which you can see in the slides above. Every piece is developed at the company’s Helsinki studio, calling on a long tradition of Danish furniture production, and most pre-orders should ready to ship in around six weeks.
