The party will benefit “Blessed 26”, a local mentoring organization whose programing is geared toward helping create opportunity for youth. Fundraising efforts include a chance to win a brand new 2016 Chevy Impala, a weekend staycation at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, or a stay at the C.C Marriott Hotel.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception and performance by r&b singer Kim Delarge Jr. where guests will have a chance to mingle, and bid in the silent auction. The cocktail reception will be followed by a captivating presentation hosted by Fox Sports, Jennifer Hale, WWL TV’s Tamica Lee, WDSU Anchor and Actor Charles Divens. Patrons will be entertained by the sounds of Kermit Ruffins, Kevin Stylez, T-Ray the Violinist and a special tribute by Grammy Award winning songwriter, PJ Morton.
V.I.P patrons will also enjoy the tastings of celebrity chefs and delectable dishes provided by some of New Orleans renowned restaurants such as; Revel Café, and bar, Lenora’s Grill, Sweet Nola,Neyow’s, Fleur De Licious and more.
The Gala & Charitable Social will also recognize some of New Orleans key contributors who truly exemplify what it means to give “Hope for 2Morrow”. Attorney Chip Forstall Jr, and trailblazer, Bill Rouselle will be awarded for their efforts. LSU standout, and All Pro Safety Tyrann Mathieu, and Artist/Activist Brandan Bmike Odoms will be highlighted for their compelling stories in an effort to engage community.
