Kendrick Lamar Pays Homage to Compton in Reebok Classic’s “I Am”

There’s little information surrounding Kendrick Lamar’s third studio album, aside from the the single, “i”, for which he released a music video earlier this year. While we wait in anticipation, Lamar decided to take some time to honor his hometown of Compton in the latest ad campaign from Reebok Classic. Director Anthony Mandler takes us on a journey through Kendrick’s hometown, celebrating the potential of youth as Kendrick raps acapella a powerful verse titled “Kendrick Lamar – I Am.”
