News that will have streetstyle and luxury fans drooling, the Givenchy creative director is set to work with sportswear brand Nike on a new project titled ‘Nike RT’.
Riccardo Tisci revealed the collaboration to Style.com, explaining his own cultural attachment to the sports brand: ”For me, Nike represents a lot: my childhood, America,” Tisci said. “In Europe, America is the flag, McDonald’s, Marlboro, and Nike, for a kid it’s very important.
Set to drop this spring, the collection, which Tisci describes as “strong without being loud”, will appear in stores and online. The two key focuses are footwear and streetwear-inspired sports apparel.
