NOLA Girls Speak… invites all to participate in a chatroom discussion for  “Speaking Our Destiny”!

NOLA Girls Speak… is an interactive forum designed for women to inspire, encourage, and support other women through interactive discussions. NOLA Girls Speak… brings you conversation with a purpose and will host its monthly chatroom discussion, themed, “Speaking Our Destiny”, with the goal of changing our life by changing our speech. We are transforming the chatroom into the artroom as we discuss the power of the tongue, and paint an NGS inspired piece created by New Orleans own Myeisha Francis. This is the beginning of a 3-part series as we prepare ourselves to enter the new year!

“The Chatroom” will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at MFrancis Art Gallery (1938 Burgundy St., NOLA 70116). Doors open at 9:00 pm. Painting starts at 9:30pm.
Cost $25 RSVP: www.passion2paint.com Seating is limited.

NOLA Girls Speak…creator’s Renata “SnickerB” Granger, Jameka “JusCookie” Hart, and Kaelyn Charbonnet aka “The Young Voice” have created a platform where women can network and share past experiences from their unique points of view. This platform unites women from all different walks of life to create an environment where past stories can be exchanged with a common goal: to enlighten others by using one sister’s past to encourage another sister’s future.

Conversation with purpose, NOLA Girls Speak… has demonstrated that one woman’s struggle can be another woman’s inspiration. We are real women on real journeys, pursuing real growth. Nola Girls Speaks… consist of women we can relate to who aren’t represented in mainstream media. They are right next door and have the courage to share in hopes of motivating others.

Attendees will eat, sip and be instructed by the Myeisha Francis (Gallery owner and Artist) as we paint the inspired piece featured above at a discounted price of $25 (Regular Price $35). Meanwhile, we will discuss the importance and power of the thoughts we allow to resonate in our speech and how it affects the path to fulfillment of our destiny.
