SATURDAY, AUG. 11

Red Dress Run – Every year, this huge event is put on for a great cause. Thousands of people show up to have a good time, drink, and frolic about downtown. Grab your red dress (and sneakers), head to the Quarter, and support the many New Orleans charities that this event supports. 9A-5P.

SUNDAY, AUG. 12

Dirty Linen Night – Similar to White Linen Night, only dirtier — literally — Dirty Linen Night encourages you to wear your last weekend outfit without freshening it up. But your clothes won’t be the only thing that’s dirty, dirty martinis and dirty rice will be served while you’re strolling through the Art District. 6-9pm
