A First Look at adidas by Rick Owens Spring/Summer 2014

After announcing the collaboration between adidas and Rick Owens two weeks ago, we’re now able to take a first look at the anticipated project. The sneakers feature Rick Owens’ signature minimalist aesthetic in a single silhouette composed of leather and nylon mixes in the colors black, white, gray, pearl and bone. The inspiration for the design comes from Owens’ personal desire for chic sneakers to motivate his cardio efforts, resulting in a collection that consists of one trainer in six unique material and color combinations for men and four for women. Subtle yet instantly iconic, select models display only the slightest hint of branding: a barely perceptible three-stripe perforation along the side.

Debuting at Paris Fashion Week, the collection will be available beginning December with prices ranging from 400 to 500 euros.
