Attitude Magazine‘s “Ten Jackets by Ten Artists” features the artwork of 10 different street artists and their take on a quintessential article of clothing that has been synonymous with street art itself: the jean jacket (check out some classic examples here). This wardrobe staple is spray-painted, deconstructed, dyed and customized to the discretion of each artist including Mr. Shiz, Stuart Semple and Danny Sangra to name a few. The artists don’t use the jean jacket as a blank canvas akin to their usual street art pursuits, but rather as a fashion statement, producing some loud and enticing pieces that promote the visual language of each artist.
