Some people sit around and wait on a road to take and other’s use their intelligence and hustle and create a lane for themselves. Big Business, Business minded can describe this female Boss from New Orleans @TheRealSupaD.
When Supa D realized there was a chance for her to market her perfect teeth and full lips, she took the opportunity and never looked back. Supa D is licensed in cosmetology and already knowledgeable of the importance of appearance, being a published model herself it’s not hard to see the jump into a lipstick brand was a smart move.
Recently Mario “Yoey” Martin of #MHOL was able to ask a few questions to entrepreneur Supa D about her lipstick brand and new laser liposuction business. Check it out below..
Yoey: How did you first get started with starting your SupaDCollection lipstick brand?
SUPAD: Well I got veneers in 2014 and the reaction from ppl was crazy I was like these teeth drawing a lot of attention what can I do to get these 10 bands back so I started the lipstick it didn’t take off or do what I thought it was gone do at the beginning well online because I stand behind my product when I say it stay on it stay on so the ladies as well as they men love that.
YOEY: In the beauty industry a lot of women are fighting for attention to make their brand more popular what do you think makes SupaDCollecrion stand out?
SUPAD: That the product really is a stay on it doesn’t come off unless you use make up wipes or baby oil.
YOEY: What are some of the challenges being a female entrepreneur?
SUPAD: Other females hate on you and don’t support because of who you were or who they think You are rather than look at who you’ve become.
YOEY: Expanding your brand outside of New Orleans, in particular Atlanta how did that benefit you most?
SUPAD: The people are more open to helping or putting you in the direction to get to the bag.
YOEY: What’s you’re future plans for SupaDCollection? Do you plan on expanding the brand to selling more items?
SUPAD: I’ve already started a laser liposuction service, I’m writing a book, and later this year I’m launching my boxer brief line. So Yes expanding is a must.
