A really effective technique to remember the meaning of a word you haven’t come across before is to associate it with something from your own world. For car lovers, when you hear the French word for speed, Vitesse, your mental image can be the 1200 horsepower BUGATTI Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse. Unveiled at last week’s Geneva Auto Show, calls this “the most powerful roadster of all time,” its 8-liter, 16 cylinder engine boasts four intercooled turbochargers that produce 1100 lb-ft of torque pushing its top speed up to nearly 268 mph. Its interior is equally impressive and will help you forget the expected 1.75 – 1.91 million Euro price tag you fork over for this open-top super car.
