Usually when I do a editorial on any subject I tend to stay completely positive. Today I have to say I’m not a fan of the new trend of celebrities wearing high fashion brand shoes, that resemble orthopedic shoes for elders.

Now as a person who owns a few pair of designer sneakers, but don’t buy often. I tend to buy what I think looks good on my feet and are comfortable, not really just for trend. I feel celebrities; as of late because they have a large budget for fashion or stylist, or just given free shit they wear anything with that “luxury name” on it.

For instance the new wave of Gucci and Balenciaga sneakers for 2018 I’ve seen people in the culture like Fabolous and the Migos and a few others wear these sneakers. I honestly feel if they didn’t have Gucci splashed on the side it would not be on they feet. The shoes clearly look like something a typical grandmother wears to go out grocery shopping.

I want to hear my #Hellofalifers opinions, do celebrities set trends are victims to luxury designer brands?

  1. I think they so ugly!

  2. Man they tripping with them joints

  3. I agree 1000% that these shoes are ugly af and if they didn’t have Gucci and Balenciaga splashed across them no one would wear them! Labels labels labels! That’s what it’s all about

  4. These look horrable, it seems all celebs are more worried about name brands and how much money they can spend on things, like its some kind of competition

  5. Maybe you should go to the store to try on a pair and see if they are comfortable ‍♂️
