Even in the final weeks of 2012, Givenchy still maintains a stranglehold on much of the fashion world with new releases. Lead designer Riccardo Tisci is making the most of his award-winning year by capitalizing on many of the iconic prints now synonymous with the brand. Rottweilers and sharks were heavy in 2012 now being easily recognizable with Givenchy. For Fall/Winter 2012, they roll out a new shark enthused hoodie perfectly blending luxurious fashion with street undertones.
Drapped in black and grey tones, the hoodie showcases an open jaw shark print in a now customary Givenchy graphic. Framed and then again by a chain link, stars also highlight the hoodie surrounding the shark and along the neckline. The gothic design sees Givenchy place an imprint in the luxury/street infused market with garments such as this one. Tisci’s insight is clear and will surely carry into next year.
