We’ve all heard that certain foods benefit the body in different ways. I’ve always been interested in which foods specifically are good for the skin. Every woman wants skin that glows and is blemish free. I found some common fruits that will get you on your way to beautiful and glowing skin!
Bananas: Bananas are rich in Vitamin A, B and E so they naturally work as an anti-aging agent for the skin. When you want to turn back the hands of time, make a mashed banana and honey mask, leave on for 30 minutes and rinse, you’ll notice an immediate difference.
Lemon: Lemon juice is great for blemishes on the skin and has the ability to lighten the skin tone. (Great for people with uneven skin) You can use it with sugar as an exfoliating scrub, or mix it with honey for a natural bleach.
Orange: Oranges slow the skin aging process, because it contains collagen. For younger looking skin rub the insides of the orange on your skin, it will have a tightening effect.
Papaya: Papaya is rich in antioxidants, and also has a natural bleaching effect. There are many soaps made with papaya that naturally even out skin tone. Applying the flesh of papaya on the skin will help with skin blemishes.
