Edward Buckles, a Dillard University college student created House of the Young, a monthly series that allows young individuals to join forces and channel their creativity on one stage, expressing themselves through art, music, poetry, fashion and film. House of the Young has been successful in creating a local buzz among college students and are moving the show to bigger and better venues like The House of Blues – New Orleans on August 31.

fashion show by Pure Content and DJ Shatt on the tables.

WHAT:       House of the Young will host its next show of talented performers at The House of Blues – New Orleans. Almost every month, young individuals join forces to channel their creativity on one stage, expressing themselves through art, music, poetry, fashion and film. Local designers also join the movement to display some of their latest clothing and designs. This action filled monthly series gets bigger and better with every show, consistently packing venues and creating a buzz locally.
