Today we get a look at CONVERSE‘s latest collaboration, one that is a definitely unique, but also a fitting match between the two brands. The link is with the Canadian retailer Hudson’s Bay, which uses their actual striped wool blanket to construct two shoes for men and women in Fall 2013. The result is a merger between the worldly heritage of the iconic Hudson’s Bay multi-stripe blanket with the equally iconic Jack Purcell silhouette, presented in the brand’s easily recognizable primary signature colors. The models include the unisex Hudson’s Bay Company Jack Purcell, as well as the Duck Boot and the women’s Helen silhouettes, with each featuring threaded stitching and antique brass eyelets. Each collaboration is sealed with the Jack Purcell and Hudson Bay logo on the footbed. The Converse Hudson’s Bay Company Jack Purcell sneaker collection will be available for purchase exclusively at Hudson’s Bay Stores for a suggested retail price of $120-140 starting Sept. 1.
Release Date: September 1st, 2013 (Sunday)
