International Fest, a free all-ages music and food festival, comes to the Port of New Orleans on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. In its second year, the festival features food trucks, local and international musical acts, and an arts and crafts marketplace, among other attractions.

Featured entertainers include South African musicians Musa Manzina, Haitian singer Leyla McCalla and the Brazilian dance troupe Casa Samba. Locals favorites like Rebirth Brass Band, Los Hombres Calientes and Russell Batiste of the Funky Meters will also perform live.

The cuisine ranges widely, from Jamaican and Vietnamese to Ethiopian and Italian, while also featuring New Orleans food trucks and restaurants.

Spears Consulting Group and the New Orleans South African Connection sponsored this year’s event. Proceeds will benefit the New Orleans chapter of the American Cancer Society as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
