Myhellofalife got a chance to attend the ribbon-cutting and grand opening for Issa Snack store. Owner Katie K. was joined by family/friends, and supporters. Many are long time supporters following her growth with the infamous Downtown Dipp! The morning began with a prayer and blessing from her Pastor Terrance Ranson of Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist. followed by Ribbing-Cutting much to delight of onlookers.

Located: 1525 Lapalco Blvd Ste 26

Many people showed up considering the regulations of the pandemic wearing mask in somewhat cold weather, people still came out to support owner Katie K. The store was then officially open for everyone to eat and celebrate. The Menu features of course the Downtown Dipp chips and hot dogs. And don’t forget the egg rolls and tacos some days as well.

Store Hours: Tuesday – Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday – Saturday 12pm – 8pm Also people can order through Uber Eats and Waitr App!

Below is a direct Quote from Owner Katie K. on being presented with a proclamation of ‘Issa Snack Express Day’.

“But let me not forgot the second best part of yesterday was having @tcartersenate present a proclamation to me declaring it “Issa Snack Express Day”. Proclamation Day is the name of official or unofficial holidays or other anniversaries which commemorate or mark an important proclamation. In some cases it may be the day of, or the anniversary of, the proclamation of a monarch’s accession to the throne.
Thank you @tcartersenate and @opulentproductions for making this happen.”
