Concept architects Modscape have unveiled their latest design, in the form of this breathtaking cliff-side home. Taking influence from the way barnacles cling to a ship’s hull, the five-story abode hugs the cliffs on a parcel of land on the south-western coast of Victoria, Australia. Conceptualized as an organic addition to the landscape, the home is entered via a car park on the top floor, with an elevator connecting the floors together, which offer potentially breathtaking views of the ocean. The design concept is used to showcase Modscape’s modular design technology, whereby a stacked series of modules are attached to the cliff-side via steel pins.
