Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke is set to auction off his custom-built Louis Vuitton cricket trunk, the proceeds of which will go towards charity.

The sleek Graphite canvas case, handmade in Louis Vuitton’s special order workshop on the outskirts of Paris, stands 140cm in height has room enough for bats, blazer, baggy green and a Bose sound system.

The piece, which is on display at Louis Vuitton’s George St store in Sydney, is valued at $170,000 and will be auctioned off in aid of Sydney Children’s Hospital.

“If I can use my reputation to make sick kids happy, then that is the least I can do. And the money raised by Louis Vuitton, that will then be given to the hospital so it can make a mighty big difference,” he said.Via.Luxuo
