Whenever you are in the Mid City area and looking for some amazing breakfast as well as some tasty sweets, stop by Wakin’ Bakin’. This a amazing little mid city brunch place that offers delivery for the mornings when you just can’t drag yourself out of the house.

The menu is small but rich with breakfast staples like omelettes, bacon, sausage and biscuits as well as less artery clogging options like oatmeal and fresh fruit. There is a small pastry case under the register as well, which host the likes of Monkey Bread and Cinnamon Rolls. The coffee is botomless and excellent; high turnover means a fresh brew. They don’t really do espresso, just drop brewed coffee but they do it well.

The restaurant itself is self seating with indoor and outdoor tables for nicer days.
