Culminating Women’s History Month, two female entrepreneurs from New Orleans, La launch their own high-end event planning company. Karin Moliere and Tatyana Thompson sit at the helm of Pretty Party Planners. The duo has been friends dating back to middle school, but recently reconnected in their adulthood.

Their friendship turned into a commercial partnership upon realizing they shared common interests in business acumen. Overcoming immense hurdles and the early woes of self-doubt plagued the proprietors but relying on one another for support is what carried them through.

With Pretty Party Planner, Moliere and Thompson are incorporating a business model of employing only women. In addition, a mentorship infrastructure has been put in place to equip their mentees with the tools and resources to move on and become their own success story.

About the Mentorship, Moliere mentioned:

We have a common goal of making business practices less stressful and more profitable. Which is what we intend to accomplish via the mentorship aspect of our company. We want women to understand the importance of healthy internal practices to manifest their desires, just as well as they would need to understand healthy business practices to have a successful and profitable business.

Pretty Party Planners official launch event will begin in New Orleans Louisiana, April 3rd at an undisclosed location. More information can be found at their official Instagram: @prettypartyplannersnola.
