Saucony gives us an early preview of a retro release originally birthed in 1991, the Saucony Originals Grid SD, rendered here in an attractive Black/Teal colorway. Featuring a material story using a combination of classic running shoe components — namely, synthetic mesh, suede and leather — the shoe is mounted on a sole unit borrowed from the Shadow 5000, featuring an outer triangular lug system designed for enhanced traction. A molded forefoot, stabilizing quarter straps and reflective material in the heel round out the details. The Saucony Originals Grid SD in Black/Teal is scheduled to launch in stores starting Spring 2015.
