The spring is perfect for lemonade right? The Talking Kitchen thinks so and they come up with guilt free version that is easy to drink and is not too sweet. Skinny Spiked Lemonade forgoes standard sugar in favor of raw or brown sugar. Here is what you need to make 4 servings.
Ingredients (4 servings)
- 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice,
- 1.5 c. filtered water
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar, or 4 Tbsp raw sugar
- 6 oz. tequila
- 1 sliced lemon for garnish
Juice approximately 4 lemons to get 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice, straining away the pulp and seeds. Next add water and the sugar, taking care to mix until dissolved. After mixing, add the tequila and stir well. Finally fill 4 small glasses with ice, pour and serve. Garnish your drinks with lemon slices and buzz away with a spiked traditional summertime treat!
