Sneaker Files // Nike Fall 2014 Aloha Retro “Hawaii”

Making a return this fall is the Nike Aloha, one of the first silhouettes used by the sportswear giant to introduce their graphic-designed releases. Initially launched in limited numbers back in 1984 as a celebration of the Honolulu Marathon, the sneaker’s overall design draws inspiration directly from the Air Pegasus 83 and features bright, vibrant Hawaiian-flower graphics printed throughout the upper, complemented by contrasting solid suede overlays. Official release information has have yet to be announced, be sure to stay tuned for further details.
