Last weekend I tried out Fountain Lounge at the Roosevelt New Orleans. I had always been for drinks because they make a really good Sazerac and a signature drink called the Jambalaya “Southern Comfort blended with the flavor of Creole Goodness.”

For the first time I tried their char grilled oysters and I must say they were pretty amazing. Honestly I would be telling a lie, if I didn’t really state that they were better than even Dragos to me. Shhhhhh don’t tell anybody I said that lol.

For my main dish I ordered the seared gulf fish with a Louisiana crawfish sauce. This dish was worth every bit of $24 and would have paid even more for a taste of fresh jumbo lump on top.

The service was superior to most others lounge/restaurants that I have ever been to, and would defiantly recommend this spot to all my HELLofaLIFERS.
