If your looking for a good spot for some good seafood on Good Friday, you should definitely try Charlie’s Seafood on Jefferson Highway.  Here you can get your hot boiled seafood as well as some exquisite seafood platters and plates. The route I took was the catfish and grits, strips of catfish on a bed of cheese grits surrounded by étouffée sauce. Sounds good doesn’t it?  But does it taste as good as it sounds? My answer: Yes it does. The catfish was well seasoned which went well with the grits, and the étouffée sauce was a bonus! Charlie’s has a great friendly atmosphere, so this is definitely a good place to go to have fun with friends while watching the game and enjoying some great seafood! Overall I give this restaurant an A.
