As travelers and thrill seekers search for paradise underwater hotels are being proposed in the most exotic place in the world. In Dubai, it was announced that construction will begin on their new hotel, The Water Discus. The hotel will include 21 rooms at least 30 feet below the surface in a giant disc. A disc above the water will have recreational facilities such as a spa, garden, and a swimming pool. Resembling a spaceship, several discs will house a helipad and diving center and emergency flotation pods.

Also in the running to be the first five star underwater resort is the Poseidon Undersea Resort. The Poseidon resort located in Fiji, will have 24 underwater suites, suites over the water, and beachfront locations. The resort will include a spa, scuba lessons, seven bars, six restaurants (one underwater, of course), and a nine-hole golf course. According to the site, $15,000 per person includes a week nights in different suites, mini-submarine piloting lessons, and a personal butler.VIA OUR FIXATIONS
