I really can’t control myself, Rihanna is giving me so much life these days; from the VMAs to the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Now “Diamonds”, the single, dropped around 6am(central) and guess who was up early to listen to it? ME! I was so elated last week to hear the Rihanna was releasing a new single. Not only is “Diamonds” the name of the new single but it’s also the name of the World Tour she will start in early 2013.

The song is definitely for the lovers. Rihanna sings in an undertone for most of the song. It may not be what you may think it is from the looks of the single art, but you will definitely fall in love with the song.

Over the weekend Rihanna teased her album release (November) and her brand-new website, Rihanna7.com. The site is not up yet but there is the Rihanna “R” with various phrases inside it, including “Heart then break” and “What’s love without a tragedy.”

“It gives me such a great feeling when I listen to it,” Rihanna told Z-100 radio host Elvis Duran in Las Vegas, where she performed at the iHeartRadio festival, NME.com reports. “The lyrics are very hopeful and positive, but it’s about love and the gears are a little different from what people would expect. I’m excited to surprise them sonically.”

She added that the song is “laid back” and “hopeful” continuing that it is a “happy and hippy record.”

I can’t wait for the video!
