SOOOOOOOO in honor of the start of football season, this week we will post all of our favorite spots to enjoy a LSU or Saints game.So for starters we bring you Vitascope Hall inside the Hyatt-Regency. The name is in direct reference to the world’s first for-profit movie theater built in New Orleans in 1896, Vitascope Hall the 360 seater bar is equipped with 25 flat-screen TVs and cuisine that extends well beyond typical bar fare. Signature items include the Vitascope Hall Burger.
It is courting the sports bar crowd, a popular pre- and postgame drinking destination for events in the Mercedes Benz- Louisiana Superdome. Vitascope Hall menu serves a mixture of Creole, Cajun, and Traditional American foods as well as a Sushi Bar.
At my stay in the Hyatt- Regency New Orleans I visited Vitascope Hall and enjoyed a late dinner. I ordered the Vitascope Hall signature Hamburger dressed with a sunny side egg, american cheese, and alligator sausage. The burger came with fries and was quite delicious. I also would add my service was enjoyable and the bar tenders were very hospitable a very comfortable environment to lounge in.
i love this place
