Traditionally, Harris Tweed fabrics are used to create suits and hats, yet designers from various facets of fashion industry have embraced the Scottish company. United Arrows have been a fan of the tweed brand for many years, designing collaboration products on regular basis. Their latest venture involves another long time collaborator, VANS, on a pair of Authentic and Slip-On kicks. Rather than implement the fabrics in a symmetric manner, their playful nature comes through in this asymmetric execution. These examples will be available at select United Arrows stores in Japan from late September and pre-orders are offered through their online shop right now.
