Usher to perform Free Concert in New Orleans’ French Quarters

R&B superstar Usher will play a free concert in New Orleans this week as part of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Fan Fest.

The concert will be held in the Jax Brewery parking lot on Decatur Street near Jackson Square at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, two days before Oklahoma State takes on Ole Miss in the 2016 Sugar Bowl.

The concert will also be streamed live via TIDAL.

Fan Fest will continue Thursday, December 31 with an Oklahoma State Pep Rally at 1:30 p.m., a New Year’s Parade at 3:30 p.m. and an Ole Miss Pep Rally at 5:15 p.m. The event will also feature numerous activities that will be open to the public, including football-related drills and more.

The 2016 Allstate Sugar Bowl is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 1 in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
