It seems now more than ever, the very philosophy of Y-3 has hit a fever pitch. Yohji Yamamoto‘s take on sportswear and fashion has become a case study of recent trends and Y-3′s Fall/Winter 2014 offerings required little deviation from the sub-label’s norm to fit in. Taking on the inspiration of superheroes, whether it was traditional tailored pieces such as blazers adorned with technical elements or unconventionally cut-down shorts, Y-3 reinforced its supreme understanding of fashion and sport.
